Job Description

• Develop and implement solutions using Python, with a focus on machine learning libraries
• Create predictive mathematical models, including regressions, decision trees, and neural networks
• Collaborate on projects involving .NET programming and HTML5
• Work with Docker technology and applications such as NodeRED and Grafana
• Manage and optimize industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC, ModBus, ProfiNet) and IT/OT convergence protocols (e.g., MQTT, AMQP)
• Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding computing hardware, including servers, PCs, MicroPCs, and IoT devices
• Utilize software tools for virtualization, API usage, and integration
• Understand Ethernet communication networks, including addressing, VLANs, filters, and VPNs, while having a basic understanding of cybersecurity measures (e.g., firewalls, antivirus)

Required Skills and Competencies

• A degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5 years of hands-on experience in system and maintenance
• Strong technical background related to Industry 5.0 technologies
• Experience with programming in Python and knowledge of relevant libraries
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and cybersecurity concepts
• Excellent problem solving skill and a self-directed approach to work
• Familiarity with .NET and HTML5 is a plus
• Experience in Water Plant Operation is a plus
• Excellent of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Direct report to O&M Manager
