Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 5:30PM

What you will do:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Report Developer/Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing BI solutions that turn data into knowledge. This role involves working closely with our MIS and business teams to deliver high-quality data analytics that support decision-making processes. 

 

SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst is responsible for managing several software applications including but not limited to: Jungle Scout and Panjiva Web Scraping Tools, Power BI; Dashboards, and Ad Hoc Sales Reporting via MS Access and Excel.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

         ·         Use statistical and analytical techniques to extract insights from data, identifying patterns and trends.

         ·         Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and assist in developing tools for collecting, organizing, and analyzing information.

         ·         Design and maintain databases and data systems, ensuring informational accuracy and integrity.

         ·         Create reports based on findings and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of business initiatives.

         ·         Generate reports and visualizations for stakeholders.

         ·         Proficiency in data processing software and business development strategies.

         ·         Ability to visualize data with graphs, infographics, and other methods.

         ·         Establishing and structuring large data sets to find usable information.

         ·         Collect data such as sales numbers or market research to aid in decision-making.

         ·         Crafting presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.

         ·         Collaborate with other data professionals as required.

         ·         Create/Manage reports and dashboards as required.

         ·         Ensure that Dashboards are measuring KPI’s correctly

         ·         Ad Hoc Reporting as required.

         ·         Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and to effectively present information in one-on-one and/or small team situations.

         ·         Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

         ·         Bachelor’s Degree in degree in a related field such as computer science, economics, statistics, or mathematics or 4+ years of comparable work experience required.

         ·         3+ years of experience in a data analysis role is typically necessary, with a focus on data cleaning, modeling, and interpretation.

         ·         Expertise with Microsoft Access, Excel and SQL and Microsoft Power BI.

         ·         To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
