Automated Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Come join our Exciting program that supports unclassified and classified software development and integration services. Some of the work we do is: brand new Big Data, data analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics, while other work will be refining and improving legacy development, as well as providing operations and maintenance.

 

The selected Software Test Engineer will have a background in maintaining and enhancing automated test scripts and creating and executing test procedures to support development, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.

Candidate will design and write automated test plans and procedures, analyze test results and develop and review code as necessary. In addition, the Test Engineer will document bugs in JIRA and provide test reports. This position is 100% onsite working in a SCIF.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR A PhD with 3+; An additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
• Extensive knowledge and experience with software testing
• Experience with automated test tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, JMeter, SoapUI, and Junit.
• Experience documenting test plans/procedures.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing automated software testing scripts
• Experience in an Agile software development environment utilizing Java or Python
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• TS/SCI with Poly

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Software development experience in a virtual environment like AWS
• Experience with Jira, Jenkins, and Gitlab

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
