ScottishPower are seeking a Data Visualisation Workstream Lead who will be responsible for driving our team to provide consistent, actionable data via visualisation tools across our Customer Business

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for leading the design and creation of data visualisations, dashboards and reports. Using your storytelling skills to ensure these provide clear and consistent data insights.

Be responsible for but not limited too.

Technical Expertise:

  • Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements,
  • Use Azure Synapse to integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Expertise in SQL / T-SQL
  • Experience and familiarity with data visualisation methodologies.

Project Management:

  • Develop project/product roadmaps,
  • Track project progress and maintain plans to ensure objectives are met within defined timescales.

Leadership:

  • Working closely with data and reporting team members to provide best practise technical guidance.
  • Ensure that team deliver to timescales and priorities required.
  • Demonstratable delivery experience in an enterprise data environment.

What you’ll bring

The post holder will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or similar relevant degree. You’ll have experience leading a team of Business Intelligence developers or analysts and a strong understanding of IT processes and system design.

You’ll have English language stills to a C2 proficiency or native speaker, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills and able to manage resources effectively whilst meeting project objectives.
