Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  - Gather and extract data from various databases and sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  - Perform detailed data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives.
  - Develop predictive models and algorithms to address complex business challenges and forecast outcomes.
  - Use statistical tools and machine learning techniques to optimize processes and inform strategic initiatives.
    To provide suggestions and research backed recommendations for adoption of newer tools and available products to enhance data productivity
  - Design and implement automated dashboards and reporting systems to streamline data insights and accessibility.
  - Develop automated alert mechanisms to promptly notify relevant stakeholders of significant changes or anomalies.
  - Collaborate with cross-functional customer experience teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
  - Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
  - Lead and manage data science projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  - Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications:
  - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
  - 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  - Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models and automated solutions.
Technical Skills:
  - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
  - Strong SQL skills and experience with data querying and transformation.
  - Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or AWS.
  - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  - Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
Soft Skills:
  - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects with minimal supervision.
 Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in creating real-time data pipelines and automated alert systems.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance practices.
- Prior experience in aviation or a customer-centric or high-growth industry is a plus.
