As a Senior Data Analyst, you will provide business intelligence to underwriting to enable robust proactive data driven decision making. You will demonstrate critical judgment in determining how a business objective can be addressed and decompose complex problems or high-level business objectives into smaller problems that can be solved using data analytics.
How you will create impact:
- Have a proven track record in conducting data analysis using various tools and approaches to achieve outcomes. Autonomously participate in the end-to-end production implementation process for analytical solutions.
- Understand your business partners, their expectations, objectives, and pain points and clearly communicate with the rest of the team.
- Conduct business data modeling and define and design logical data models.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of individual life insurance business domain.
- Autonomously demonstrate critical judgment in determining how a business objective can be addressed and solved with data analysis
- Autonomously and efficiently communicate findings to a business audience.

To join our team:
- Knowledge of individual life business concepts, systems and products.
- You have 6years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence or other relevant domain.
- You have a University Degree or diploma in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent technical experience.
- You have strong knowledge and understanding of: Data analysis, Programing/tools, Modelling techniques, Data warehouse/data management, and Research.
- You have experience solving complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information and can provide clear recommendations for improvement.
- Demonstrate proficiency in interpersonal communication and the ability to foster collaborative relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Exhibit eagerness to adopt new technologies and continuously enhance existing technical competencies.
- Experience with the following is required: SQL and excel data models.
- Experience with the following is an asset: DAX, power query, power pivot report, Power BI, R, Python, predictive models.
