We are currently seeking an Engineering Tool Administrator to join our Engineering Methods & Systems Team based in Houston, Texas.
About the Job
In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to administer tools such as Aveva Engineering, SDx, and/or Aspen Basic Engineering, directly contributing to our innovative engineering projects and delivering exceptional value to our clients.
You will collaborate with a talented team of engineering tool administrators, information managers, and engineering discipline leads to create, maintain, and deliver transformative solutions like the engineer data warehouse and digital twin:
- Leverage a data-centric approach to enhance downstream disciplines, ensure seamless digital integration, and support the development of digital twin.
- Bridge partnerships between engineering and IT to promote effective communication, facilitate problem-solving, and drive solution building.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster collaboration and resolve issues efficiently.

About You
We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with less than 2 years professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
- Minor or additional major in Data Science or Computer Science a plus
- Internship/co-op experience preferred
- Languages: English with Professional Proficiency. Other languages could be useful as well when working with our high value execution centers
- Effective communicator (spoken and written)
- Able to collaborate and nimble to support others when necessary
- Problem solver
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with less than 2 years professional experience
- Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to engineering software and/or engineering projects
- Knowledge of with Aveva Engineering, SDx, or Aspen Basic Engineering
- Experience with other engineering applications in the Hexagon, Aveva, or Aspentech toolset
- Programming skills in VBA, .NET, Python, and C#
