What you’ll do

 

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - HanaHaus Business Intelligence Analyst

 

Location: Newport Beach, CA

 

Expected Start Date: January 2025

 

Contract Duration: 6 months

 

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

 

  • Provide support to the HanaHaus team, assisting with day-to-day business tasks
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to support effective decision-making by stakeholders
  • Research, design, and execute innovative operations processes to enhance and scale the business
  • Conduct financial forecasting and track product utilization
  • Improve and document finance processes, automating them whenever possible
  • Gather data and contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations for leadership meetings
  • Leverage various sources of user and financial information to identify and recommend new business opportunities
  • Actively participate in strategic projects
  • Collaborate with technical experts and non-technical stakeholders to assist in product management and guide the translation of business objectives into product development goals
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and investigations to ensure data quality
  • Define, develop, and maintain critical business and operational reports reviewed on a regular basis
  • Analyze historical data to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and support decision-making through written and verbal presentation of results and recommendations
  • Extract information from multiple data sources, perform exploratory data analysis, and identify correlations and patterns to meet business needs

You enjoy working on meaningful and innovative projects and are driven by continuous learning. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in data analysis, financial reporting, business development, and product operations.  Proficiencies in Excel and SQL are a must. Additional technical skills in Python and advanced SQL are highly desirable.

  • Requirements: Current student of a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Management / Business Administration / Business Analytics / Finance / Informatics / Data Science / Computer Science or enrolled in Master’s. Previous experience in finance reporting, data analysis, business development and product operations. A willingness to learn and grow into the role.
    • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Advanced SQL knowledge (e.g. window functions, recursive queries) highly preferred. 
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Metabase.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for revenue reporting and analysis.
    • Experience using Python and pandas to automate data processing.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in product management with JIRA considered a plus

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
