Apple Media Services is an exciting environment and a dynamic development organization. With customers in around the world, we are a fast-growing marketplace for music, movies, TV shows, books, podcasts, and, apps. The Music Services Program team is responsible for managing the Music ML and related technologies program, ensuring projects are well defined, organised and on time. We're looking for people who can partner with our stakeholder teams to define metrics and triage systems helping to ship complex, customer-facing music recommendations systems (e.g., features for the dynamically personalised Home Tab in Apple Music) under demanding timelines.
Description
This is an exciting new direction for our team, blending reporting and triaging systems engineering with program management. The role is a great opportunity to gain cross-functional exposure to a diverse array of teams, to flex engineering skills at the same time as building a wide network within Services and the wider Apple team. - Design and engineer bug triaging system, leveraging existing systems and incorporating new technologies such as LLM-driven decisioning. - Define key metrics with stakeholders and assemble Tableau reporting. - Partner with stakeholders to create functional, and technical requirements, managing program requirements through delivery. - Collaborate and network with Music ML Engineering, Program Managers, Product, Client Engineering, QA, and other Apple teams to garner adoption of systems and ensure reporting meets teams’ needs/ - Help establish processes to improve how our products are built and executed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Python software development knowledge;
- Knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks;
- Ability to partner with multiple product and business stakeholders to prioritise and align on roadmap;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Driven, self starter able to thrive in flexible environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of data and analytics and reporting technologies such as Tableau and SQL
- Technical program management experience and knowledge of AI or ML systems and technologies is a plus.
