The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data & Artificial Intelligence Policy Analyst to support senior leadership federal agency in the development, implementation, and management of data and AI policies, strategies, and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to strategic initiatives and deliver high-impact deliverables in an agile environment.


Responsibilities:
- Contribute to drafting and finalizing data and AI policies, strategies, and deliverables for the Office of the Chief Officer / Office of the Chief Artificial Intelligence.

- Gather and synthesize feedback from subject matter experts, organizational stakeholders, and contractors to in shared strategies. - Develop materials and content for client reporting, including compliance documents for the Office of Management Budget (OMB).

- Assist in establishing Data and AI Governance frameworks using leadership best practices

- Facilitate interagency coordination and contribute to OMB activities to ensure program compliance and effectiveness

- Organize and present in Data and AI Working Groups, synthesizing findings to develop actionable agendas for higher level decision-making

- Provide program management support, including drafting documents, templates, and best practices for internal external communication

- Assist in identifying program results, managing change requests, and improving processes in an agile environment

- Design and implement digital workflows to streamline program management

- Lead workstreams for modernization initiatives using Agile methodologies

- Conduct hot button analysis and prioritize improvement areas to guide modernization


Qualifications:

Required: 

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BA/BS - Experience in a technology-driven, consultancy, or government environment.

- Demonstrated understanding of digital transformation projects and Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Strong ability to communicate and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience organizing and facilitating meetings, documenting notes, and tracking action items.

- Proven ability to multitask effectively and manage priorities in a fast-paced, technical environment.

- Clear and error-free oral and written communication skills.


Desired:

- Familiarity with NASA’s organizational environment and frameworks.

- Prior involvement in federal agency modernization projects.

- Good knowledge of digital application workflows and processes.

- Demonstrated success in working with diverse teams and senior leadership.

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
