Job Description:

As the Senior Director of Media Analytics, you will build and lead a cross-disciplinary team consisting of engineers, analysts, and marketing technology specialists that specialize in turning data into actionable insight.

As the senior-most day to day contact for analytics on your client(s), you will partner with the media investment and planning leads to set strategy, develop measurement frameworks, create a learning agenda, provide thought leadership, and deliver ongoing guidance to both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is both data savvy and a great communicator. Collaboration is at the core of our business success and the Senior Director of Analytics will need to create a close and dynamic relationship with our clients and internal stakeholders, in addition to managing a cross-disciplinary Media Analytics team comprised of individuals across Data Science, Engineering, MarTech, and Data Reporting & Insights.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the analytics deliverables scoped multiple client brands/lines of business

  • Lead the integration of analytics disciplines in service of client business outcomes

  • Act as the senior-most day to day contact for analytics, adapting to business challenges and managing priorities with agility and clarity

  • Partner with media & account leads to develop learning agenda, analytics deliverable schedules, measurement frameworks, thought leadership, and ad hoc deliverables as needed

  • Act as advisor to client on data inputs and application for MMM/ econometric modeling; partner with modeling teams on expanding insights and hypotheses to incorporate learnings

  • Steward development and ongoing management of our unified data infrastructure, inform requirements and oversee data processes for engineering, database structure, ETL and data QA processes

  • Mentor and develop skill sets across the Analytics team

  • Contribute to agency Media Analytics practice in sharing best practices, case studies and thought leadership

  • Contribute to agency development efforts for analytics, including new business pitches

Required Skills & Experience

  • 9+ years relevant Media and/or Analytics experience

  • Expertise in digital media planning/ buying, and knowledge of media metrics relevant to efficiency and effectiveness measurement

  • Strong organizational skills, proven leadership ability, and collaborative ways of working

  • Demonstrates understanding of digital tagging, tracking, QA, and maintenance across mobile, social, & tablet and their advantages/limitations

  • Experience working with core media partner platforms and their associated measurement offerings (SA360, CM360, Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook, etc)

  • Experience with Data Visualization design and dashboard building (e.g., Datorama, Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Expertise in relational databases and a requisite programming language (e.g., SQL, R, or Python) and ability to lead training and best practices for junior employees

  • High Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel is required

  • Working knowledge of statistical testing & regression a plus

  • Ability to organize team by building Project Management process; Scrum/Agile experience a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position is $136,000-$219,650. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
