As a Clinical Data Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, troubleshooting, supporting, and documenting the integrations of GE HealthCare (GEHC) cloud based solutions to third-party applications deployed at new and existing clients. The outcome of your efforts will be a successful integration, consisting of fully functional applications and the customer acceptance of the results. In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams equally, resolving concerns and obstacles in all phases of the integration process.
Responsibilities
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process

- Work both autonomously and cooperatively with clients and colleagues alike.
- Be passionate about taking on new challenges and meeting/exceeding goals individually and as a team
- Provide leadership to translate requirements into architecture and formulate solutions and integrations that resolve issues and mitigate risks
- Work with customers and internal teams to ensure interfaces are deployed to deliver the appropriate clinical data, utilizing healthcare messaging such as HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, DICOM, XDS, etc. for successful support of the GEHC solutions
- Maintain deep domain expertise in health integrations and standards
- As a Subject Matter Expert, provide leadership, training, and solutions to customers, third parties and internal teams
- Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and ability to demonstrate value of solutions/concepts to other architects, business users and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, and 10+ years relevant experience in healthcare integration or equivalent
- Experience, training, and certification of capabilities with integration engines such as CloverLeaf, Rhapsody, Mirth, Capsuletech, Corepoint, IGUANA, Orchestra, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in Healthcare IT technologies, including Imaging (PACS, VNA, RIS, Pathology, etc.), clinical information systems (EMR, EHR, LIS, CVIS, Pharma, etc.)
- Comprehension of coding languages and related technologies (Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, xml, JSON and others)
- Deep knowledge and expertise within the industry standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM, IHE profiles, etc.)
- A working knowledge of healthcare ontologies such as UMLS, LOINC, ICD10, SNOMED, CPT codes and others
- Working knowledge of databases and understanding of clinical data models
- Understanding of hospital workflows and healthcare working environments
- History of success in working with customers, vendors, and in cross-functional teams with strong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking and planning with attention to details and organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, etc.
- Software development skills with Python, C#, Java, JavaScript and similar solutions
- Expertise in FHIR and SMART on FHIR
- EMR FHIR application experience
- Experience and documented training on EMR vendor products such as Epic, Cerner, Dedalus, SAP, MEDITECH, InterSystems and others

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $111,280.00-$166,920.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
