Your new role
As our new Lead Consultant, Data Analyst, you will be part of a team that utilizes critical thinking skills and group participation in the development of databases, report documents, data dashboards, and data analysis. The successful Lead Consultant, Data Analyst will be able to work independently, thrive in a team-environment, and be a technical data resource for project managers and staff. You will help deliver innovative, inspiring, and sustainable solutions that set new standards and make a genuine difference to our clients, the environment, and society.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Processing laboratory and other data deliverables and generating tables and maps to support the preparation of reports and presentations
- Performing statistical or spatial data analysis using large environmental datasets, including modeling contaminant mass and migration
- Developing Power BI dashboards to display site data and regulatory information
- Training and supervising entry level consultants in GIS and/or data management tasks
- Strategically refining existing data applications, and suggesting additional, practical and beneficial uses
About you
- B.S./M.S. in GIS, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Understanding of relational databases and experience in EQuIS (or relevant environmental data management suites), Microsoft Access, SQL, and desktop and web-based ESRI GIS products, including developing and managing geospatial databases; experience with EVS a plus
- Competence in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards connected to multiple data sources
- Ability to work on multiple deliverables at the same time while maintaining organization and efficiency
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with and present to others, and willingness to work in diverse and multi-user team environments
