Position Overview:
Seeking professionals experienced in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), ideally with expertise in electronics, textiles/fashion, or agricultural supply chains. Responsibilities include translating operational and supply chain data into detailed LCA models to assess risks, report on goals, and identify initiatives to reduce environmental impacts. This is a collaborative role working with finance, data science, and software teams.

Education Requirements:

  • Master’s/PhD in industrial ecology, engineering, or a sustainability-related field with a focus on LCA methods.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in LCA considered.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in computational LCA elements (e.g., co-product allocation, data normalization, matrix computations, uncertainty analysis).
  • Proven experience in building life cycle inventories, including data collection and process-based modeling.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14040/14044 and ILCD-compliant LCA practices.
  • Knowledge of spatially explicit impact assessment methods.
  • Industry-specific LCA experience (electronics, textiles, or agriculture).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Project management experience.
  • Expertise in hybrid LCA models or inventory database management.
  • GIS and spatial analytics skills.
  • Programming experience (R, Python, SQL).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI).
