LCA Analyst

Position Overview:
Seeking professionals experienced in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), ideally with expertise in electronics, textiles/fashion, or agricultural supply chains. Responsibilities include translating operational and supply chain data into detailed LCA models to assess risks, report on goals, and identify initiatives to reduce environmental impacts. This is a collaborative role working with finance, data science, and software teams.
Education Requirements:
- Master’s/PhD in industrial ecology, engineering, or a sustainability-related field with a focus on LCA methods.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in LCA considered.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in computational LCA elements (e.g., co-product allocation, data normalization, matrix computations, uncertainty analysis).
- Proven experience in building life cycle inventories, including data collection and process-based modeling.
- Familiarity with ISO 14040/14044 and ILCD-compliant LCA practices.
- Knowledge of spatially explicit impact assessment methods.
- Industry-specific LCA experience (electronics, textiles, or agriculture).
- Strong problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Project management experience.
- Expertise in hybrid LCA models or inventory database management.
- GIS and spatial analytics skills.
- Programming experience (R, Python, SQL).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI).
