We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Management Analyst to join our team and support our customer. This position requires proficiency in SAS programming specifically in Military Health System (MHS) Data Repository (MDR) and MHS Mart (M2).

It is a 100% REMOTE position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use pharmacy, beneficiary, and various health care data, relevant references, and analytic tools to assemble, prepare, and analyze information in support of clinical, policy, and business decision making.
• Prepare and delivery products and presentations to colleagues, subordinates, government representatives, clinicians, and others as needed.
• Interact with pharmacy subject matter experts to develop solutions to difficult or complex questions. Support the development of useable tools to meet quick turnaround responses to one-time questions.
• Contribute to team development through process improvement, knowledge sharing, and quality reviews. Identify and influence systemic changes to improve team performance, organization, quality and services.
• Identify gaps in process or organization and challenges self and others to develop and implement solutions.

Work Experience:

• At least six (6) years programming experience in MDR.
• Demonstrated ability to translate clinical and business questions into data requests and to translate data into actionable information.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics, Health IT, Analytics, or related technical field required.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

• This position requires the candidate to be an United States Citizen and capable of obtaining an IT-2 position of Public Trust

Communication Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations

Travel:

• Willing to travel as needed.

Environmental Requirements:

• Remote work in a private and suitable location
• Private high efficiency home internet access is required
• Private high efficiency home phone or mobile phone service is required
• Standard Monday through Friday day schedule, with some extended hours at times
