Software Engineer Lead - Sr Azure  Data Engineer-076852

Preference for location goes as follows: Frisco (TX), Bellvue (WA), Atlanta

Job description:

Capgemini is looking to hire a Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team. Some of the requirements as follow:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business teams and technical analysts to understand business requirements.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring, automation, and refinement of data engineering solutions

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years DW/BI development experience in large-scale warehouse program with mandatory 2+ years of hands-on Azure and Snowflake data platform experience 
  • Data Engineering/Development experience with hands-on in writing sophisticated SQL, stored procs in Snowflake DB
  • Experience working with different data storage options including Azure BLOB storage, ADLS Gen 2, Key vaults and Databricks Delta Lakehouse 
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory-based data flow orchestration & execution.
  • Databricks hands on experience is must 
  • Strong development hands-on background in crafting Snow pipe, and sophisticated data transformations and manipulations using Data Pipelines, SQL Procedures
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake external tables concepts, Staging, Snow scheduler & performance tuning.  
  • Teradata working experience is plus
  • Past working experience in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Good to have working experience with on-shore / off-shore/ near-shore model
  • Gen Ai experience is a plus
