EY GDS – Data and Analytics – AWS – Senior

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer [5-8 years experienced] to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue and a deep understanding of AWS services, including IAM, S3, and streaming technologies.

The AWS Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, secure, and scalable data solutions that support our business objectives.

The Candidate should have knowledge on SQL , Data warehousing ,ETL concepts and proficient in Python or Pyspark.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable and reliable data pipelines using AWS Glue [Python/Pyspark].
• Manage and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
• Implement data storage solutions using AWS S3 , AWS Redshift and other AWS storage services.
• Configure and manage AWS IAM roles and policies to ensure secure access to AWS services.
• Utilize AWS streaming technologies such as Kinesis for real-time data processing and kafka on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various data sources into the data platform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues.
• Ensure data quality and implement data governance best practices.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code on AWS
