Position Summary

The Data Analyst for Contract Compliance identifies, extracts, analyzes and reports on data from various electronic sources and systems in support of contract compliance and regulatory standards or mandates for assigned connected business unit (CBU). Work involves partnering cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and governmental bodies to support informed decision making and ensure regulatory commitments. You will also serve as the subject matter expert for data extract and reporting processes to meet all department needs.

Responsibilities

  • Consults with line staff to determine workflows and how those may affect data reporting
  • Assists in developing data queries and definitions to assist with data reporting requirements for teams
  • Utilizes data systems to query large data sets, produce reports/presentations and dashboards; summarizes findings and presents data insights and recommendations in a clear and understandable format to stakeholders
  • Performs data collection, cleaning and management; ensures data accuracy and integrity
  • Performs data analytics, analyzes data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and meaningful insights
  • Acts as a liaison between IS & T and clinical teams; requests changes to EPIC for data collection and reporting to help meet contract requirements
  • Assists with external and internal audits related to contract and/or government compliance
  • Reviews recent changes to contracts, policies and laws and incorporates needed changes to internal processes and procedures
  • Provides training/guidance to employees on data collecting and reporting
  • Provides subject matter expertise and counsel on various federal/state/contract regulatory matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical, business or IT related field or commensurate work experience required
  • Two (2) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or similar platforms
  • Working experience with EPIC, governmental contracts and regulations
  • If assigned to a clinical CBU, a clinical background is preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $75,941.00 - $109,262.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
