We’re looking for someone like you to propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.  

As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll support U.S. Navy functional data management, data governance, and business intelligence and analytics. Partnering with your team of Business Analytics Consultants, Data Analysts, Database Administrators, System Administrators, and leading Data Scientists and Data Architects, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to the MyNavy HR Chief Data Officer, Bureau of Navy Personnel, and the Navy Education and Training Command.

You Have: 

• Experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Test Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Security, Programing in SQL, JAVA, Python, or R, and Data Analysis Software such as Excel, SAS, or SPSS
• Experience in complex problem solving, software, systems, business processes, cyber security, network, hardware installation, network management, enterprise communications, information assurance, system administrator, data standardization
• Knowledge of Database Query Language such as SQL, Report Creation, and Data Visualization with Tableau and R Studio
• Knowledge of Statistical Methods and Techniques to Analyze Data, DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), Managing Enterprise Level Cross Functional Teams
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance 
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, or Physical Science

  

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience in working and collaborating with technical staff and engineers
• Knowledge of U.S Navy Personnel Systems and MyNavy HR Transformation Initiatives
• Ability to pay strict attention to detail, and display a proactive and positive attitude
• Possession of excellent client-facing or consulting skills
• Possession of excellent documentation and organizational skills ​

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
