As a Guidewire business lead at PwC, you will focus on guiding and leading the business aspects of Guidewire implementations within an insurance organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of Guidewire projects to enable successful outcomes.

Job Description & Summary:
This role involves developing and executing data quality assurance processes, identifying data discrepancies, and working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data quality assurance, experience in the insurance industry, and familiarity with Guidewire Insurance Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data quality assurance strategies and processes.
  • Conduct thorough data validation and verification to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify, document, and track data quality issues and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to resolve data quality issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis of data quality problems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain data quality metrics and reports to monitor and communicate data quality status.

Mandatory skill sets:

  • 3-8 years of experience in data quality assurance, preferably in the insurance domain.
  • Experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations is a plus.

Preferred skill sets:

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  •  Certification in data quality or data management (e.g., CDMP, IQCP) is a plus.
