THE ROLE:

The Finance Data Analyst provides critical insights through data analysis and dashboard development, supporting key business functions. This role drives financial and operational decision-making by analyzing data from EMR systems, PowerBI, and Salesforce. Working closely with executive stakeholders, the analyst designs dashboards to track revenues, margins, and operational metrics, and assists in KPI creation and monitoring to identify root causes and present findings. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset and data visualization experience, delivering insights that enhance strategic initiatives and add value across the organization.

Primary responsibilities include: 

• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities, providing recommendations that support financial planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
• Pull, clean, and interpret data from various systems, including EMR systems, PowerBI, and Salesforce, to provide accurate and actionable insights for the Finance/Business teams.
• Design, build, and maintain user-friendly, interactive dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
• Build, maintain, and deliver professional positive working relationships with all internal and external leaders (i.e. Brand Executive Leadership).
• Ensure data accuracy by validating and auditing data, identifying trends, and addressing inconsistencies to maintain high data quality.
• Continuously seek to enhance data collection, reporting, and visualization processes, leveraging automation where possible to improve efficiency and scalability.

This is a hybrid position, coming into the corporate El Segundo office 3x a week. 

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Qualifications

• Proficient expertise in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Proficient understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business related fields like Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Engineering or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Strong work ethic.

Skills

• Advanced Excel capabilities with expertise in the use of modeling, advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, keyboard shortcuts, etc.
• Strong understanding in MS SQL, SSMS, and PowerBI or Tableau (required).
• Experience with Salesforce reporting and data extraction; familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.
• Strong Ability to effectively manage competing and changing priorities to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders and other business users, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex data concepts and analysis results clearly and concisely.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, research and resolution, and project management skills.
• Excellent analytical skillset to perform comprehensive data analyses and strategic thinking/visioning to lead discussions by providing recommendations based on the results.
• Strong Database knowledge such as data warehousing, multidimensional/relational database design, data integration, etc. (required).
• Intermediate in writing and executing SQL queries to gather, manipulate, combine and analyze high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources (required).
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

The expected California Pay Range for this position:$80,642—$96,782 USD
