Department Summary

Position Summary

The Department of Data Science seeks to build a pool of candidates interested in filling Pro Tempore Instructor positions as needs arise. Pro Tem faculty are qualified part-time or full-time instructors offered teaching opportunities based on course demand and staffing. Appointments are limited in duration, potentially renewable for up to a total of three years.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

• A PhD in a relevant field, or an advanced degree with significant professional experience in a related field.
• Experience teaching courses in data science at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• Experience supporting and enhancing a diverse learning and working environment.
