Role Overview: 

 The Commercial Effectiveness team came together recently. Its purpose is to understand and maximize business performance and drive up consumer value through the strategic use of digital tech and data.  

As a Product Manager within this team you will lead the development and execution of data-centric products that drive consumer engagement and health management. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform data insights into actionable solutions that meet the needs of our consumers and business objectives. 

This role involves data product build to enable analysis of “performance”, development of measurement frameworks, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in marketing efforts. 

The role should have strong understanding of Commercial and Marketing Technology and business outcomes and be a credible advisor on achieving the enterprise initiative outcomes. 

The role will also manage significant foundation data delivery and significant AI and analytics data products. The role holder will be expected to understand and credibly influence the development of these platforms for the benefit of the Business. The role holder will be a senor member of a cross functional team made up of Digital & Tech functions, Data teams, Business Teams and BUs. The resources may be sourced internally or through multiple vendors. The role will need to provide strong leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to create a high-performance culture and takes ownership of critical decisions and provides clear direction, actively leading problem-solving discussions across boundaries.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Product Strategy: 

  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for data-driven solutions in consumer healthcare. 

  • Identify market trends and consumer needs to inform product development. 

Data Management: 

  • Oversee the integration, analysis, and utilisation of healthcare data to drive product innovation. 

  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and security, adhering to relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA). 

Cross-functional Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and design teams to bring data products from concept to market. 

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure alignment on product goals and messaging. 

User-Centric Development: 

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on product features. 

  • Create user personas and journey maps to better understand behaviour. 

Performance Metrics: 

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and user engagement. 

  • Analyse product performance and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancements. 

Stakeholder Communication: 

  • Present product updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders. 

  • Act as a primary point of contact for data product-related inquiries and feedback. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare); Master’s degree preferred. 

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data products in healthcare or technology. 

  • Proven experience in data analytics, product development, and user-centered design. 

 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

  • Experience of leading / working in agile delivery teams.
