GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Quantitative Analyst II is responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems. Individual at this level is expected to use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to supervisors or other experts. Individual would be expected to contribute to work flow or process change and redesign, and to form a strong basic understanding of the specifies product or process. May also be accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This person will provide quantitative support for the Fraud Reporting and Modeling team
- Utilize analytics approaches to report fraud trends, optimize operations reporting, and develop apps (when needed)
- Work cross functionally within the department with analytics, operations, and other stakeholders
- Provide adhoc support for operations, strategy, and leadership analytics requests
- Required: at least 1-2 years of applied experience utilizing programming languages (SAS and/or Python preferred)
- Required: experience with data visualization with Tableau, Power BI, R-Shiny, or other data visualization software
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's college degree (Master’s degree preferred) in quantitative analytics, economics, statistics, engineering or a related area.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with SAS and/or Python (PhD training can substitute for work experience).
- Experience with common predictive modeling approaches (Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Lasso Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting, Decision Trees, Neural Networks).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to present a professional image.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and to be flexible.
- Experience with Microsoft office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is necessary. Experience with SAS, R and VBA is preferred.
