POSITION SUMMARY

  • The Analyst, Global Master Data Management serves as the Subject Matter Expert and maintains data integrity thru validation, profiling, cleansing, and researching data to support Customer Master Data in Oracle and other systems in use. He/She will support all the business units of Vertiv thru:
    • Validating the data entry of customer information into dataZen and/or ERP systems.
    • Contribute to data audits to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
    • Manage and respond to master data questions from the business stakeholders and technical teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver an excellent and efficient customer service experience through quality work output by receiving and validating customer creation or modification requests from internal customers, updating the key information required and any other modifications required and supported into the ERP/EBS databases. 
  • Maintains tracking of all requested changes through tickets in dataZen and SharePoint and strives to have requests processed within SLA agreed and adhere to month end closings for business.
  • Performs data quality updates as requested by data quality group and/or data stewards.
  • Maintains adherence to data process standards, governance, and internal audit requirements and continuous adaptation of Master Data processes to meet current business needs.
  • Respond to requestor issues and provide first level of issue resolution by providing sound recommendations and solutions to their queries.
  • Collaborates with the team members by coordinating with other teams/support to complete the request of customers and by planning, executing, and managing the own workloads and projects in cooperation with line leaders.
  • Adheres to shift schedules and attendance expectations to ensure consistent support to customers and a balanced workload for peers and serves as back-up for next level similar or related function for business continuity.
  • Actively assists internal customers in handling, servicing, follow-up, communication, and closure of issues identified.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Management or Business-related course or any other courses related to this field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong Team Effort and Leadership mentality.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and keen attention to details. 
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, committed to deliver results, meeting multiple deadlines, and able to work under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge to use of MS Office Software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications
  • Basic knowledge of Database maintenance through ERP Interface (Oracle and/or SAP applications)
