Your new team

As the Data Operations Product Manager, you will have to manage several data products related to the Data ops Product Family. The Product Family you manage covers several data domains (Data Manufacturing & production, data Supply Chain, data procurement). You will manage and coordinate a team of Data Product Owners that will lead the building and run phases through dedicated squads. You will be strongly involved in leading the strategic vision and roadmap definition and execution for the Product Family, managing interactions and interdependencies among Product Family squads to ensure global coordination and consistency, ensuring value generation and ROI for the business from the Product Family, and overseeing overall funding within the scope to ensure appropriate allocation and tracking.

Your unique contribution

The responsibilities include leading the strategic vision and roadmap definition and execution for the Product Family, managing interactions and interdependencies among Product Family squads to ensure global coordination and consistency, ensuring value generation and ROI for the business from the Product Family, and overseeing overall funding within the scope to ensure appropriate allocation and tracking.

Defining product family vision and backlog

  • Define product family vision and roadmap facilitating negotiations between stakeholders (Global Business Process Owners) and convert it into actionable backlog
  • Update regularly the product family vision and roadmap and socialize it with Product Owners
  • Challenge and validate prioritization of actions proposed by PO based on value for business

Monitoring value realization and budget

  • Define target business outcomes (KPIs) across squads and monitor adoption & value delivery
  • Is accountable of budget management on their scope

Coordinating the work of product teams

  • Coordinate product teams work, animate PO community, securing engagement & collaboration
  • Oversee product squads’ activities throughout product lifecycle, providing expertise & securing arbitration
  •  Coordinate with tech leaders, as needed (for issues on Chapter resources mobilization...)

Overseeing demos and roll-out plan definition

  • Ensure all activities related to demos/product quality are effective and consistent in terms of methodology
  • Plan out high-level release schedule across squads & secure effective interdependency management
  • Oversee roll-out activities in closed collaboration with proximity teams

Other

  • Ensure that local needs are effectively captured and arbitrated, in collaboration with proximity teams
  • Work with vendor engagement officers to define editors’ roadmap and roadmaps based on available resource capacity

Who you’ll be working with

Internally, you’ll work with Product Owner (steer and animate POs community), Business stakeholders teams, capabilities teams, Resources Lead (align on resource allocation to the Squads) and Data Domain Specialist (Provide updates on demand approval/ progress & product roadmap and gather Product Family new demands).

Externally, you’ll work with Suppliers in charge of 0PS third-party data solutions and other potential data vendors

Your blend of talent

This position could be right for you if you:

  • Have strategic thinking & value-driven mindset (roadmap creation, product vision articulation, value monitoring…).
  • Have experience in people management, preferably within a multiple-teams structure and different locations.
  • Have strong communication & stakeholders management skills (customer centricity…).
  • Have a good industry knowledge and insights into key challenges for Manufacturing & Production, Supply Chain, and Procurement.
  • Have experience in Product Management and in managing roll-out plan of Tech products, with strong understanding of agile mindset & practices.
