As an Associate Data Scientist within our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and generating actionable insights. Collaborating closely with data engineers, product managers, and business analysts, you will support data-promoten decision-making and innovation. Your role will be crucial in creating solutions that utilize our big data, enhance our capabilities, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job responsibilities:

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.
  • Clean, preprocess, and transform data to ensure quality and accuracy for analysis and modeling.
  • Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.
  • Update latest developments in data science and machine learning, and apply new techniques and tools as appropriate.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master’s degree
  • Programming skills in Python or R or a similar language.
  • Understanding data analysis and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity in data visualization tools such as Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with SQL and database management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
