You will provide the foundation of data management and governance in the years to come.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Governance Coordination team to provide insights and guidance to various members of the data community, empowering them to effectively fulfill their roles
  • Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives related to the implementation of data governance guidelines, frameworks, and rules established by the Data Governance team.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to disseminate Data Guidelines, Frameworks, and standards defined at the global level to all data community members.
  • Assist in the design, definition, and implementation of effective data governance practices and tools.
  • Facilitate workshops aimed at steering and implementing data governance and management processes.
  • Conduct audits to evaluate data governance and proper data handling on prioritized projects or regions, aligning with business needs, strategic goals, or specific requirements
  • Collaborate with other members of the Data Governance and Strategy team to identify opportunities for enhancing data handling practices across AP.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related field (e.g., business informatics)
  • 3-5 years of project management or data management experience, principles, practices, and techniques used in managing information.
  • High affinity for organizational communication well as excellent presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge experience and affinity in data management ecosystems and data governance
  • Good understanding of data sharing, data protection, data demand management, data quality and knowledge management concepts
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Governance, Data Architect or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in data management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
