About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead one of our engineering squads.

  • Leading a team of six full-stack engineers, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to initiate major product enhancements and drive key design decisions.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative environment where great ideas turn into impactful outcomes.
  • As a mentor, you’ll support your team in exceeding expectations, maintaining accountability for both individual and team performance.
  • Your efforts will contribute to delivering a sustainable, high-quality app, helping us ship quickly while ensuring excellence as we modernize our platform.
  • In this dynamic role, you’ll have a voice, make a tangible impact, and grow as a leader—becoming a key player in our long-term success.

About You

You are an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead with a passion for leadership, problem-solving, and innovation. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of software development experience—ideally as a Backend or Full-Stack Engineer.
  • 3+ years of engineering team leadership experience with a proven track record of fostering team growth and success.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • A hands-on coder who’s comfortable diving into the code 10-20% of the time when needed.
  • Skilled at managing complex, legacy codebases, resolving challenges like technical debt, scalability issues, and integration hurdles with practical solutions.
  • Proven experience building modern web applications.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to balance technical considerations with business goals.
  • A natural communicator—concise, clear, and courteous.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, evolving start-up or scale-up environments.
  • An achiever—your CV showcases accomplishments you’re proud of.
  • Curious, innovative, and unafraid of taking calculated risks, viewing failures as opportunities to learn.

Technical skills

  • C# or Java (C# preferred).
  • TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or similar relational databases.
  • Any of the cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud (Azure strongly preferred).
  • Bonus: Python, R, Rust, Node.js exposure.
