Job Description & Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Databricks Developer with 7+ years of experience in Azure Data Services, particularly focusing on Databricks and related technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data processing solutions on the Azure platform.

Responsibilities:

• Data Processing: Develop and implement advanced data processing solutions leveraging Azure Databricks.
• Pipeline Development: Build and manage robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Requirement Analysis: Work with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into Azure Databricks for analysis and processing.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize data processing workflows for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Data Quality: Ensure high data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other team members to design and implement comprehensive data solutions.

Mandatory skill sets:

• Certifications: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Certification (mandatory)
• Azure Databricks: Extensive experience with Azure Databricks and related data engineering practices.
• Azure Data Services: Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and other Azure data services.
• ETL Processes: Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
• Programming: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL for data processing and analysis.
• Performance Optimization: Expertise in optimizing data workflows and processes for better performance.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred skill sets:

• Certifications:
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
  • Databricks Certification.
• Experience: Hands-on experience in migrating data from on-premises or other cloud services to Azure Databricks.
• Big Data Tools: Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, etc.
