Overview

 

This is an exciting role within the Play Digital Remote Game Server (RGS) Operations team. You will be the go-to person for all operations analysis on our RGS (Remote Game Server) product, from creating automated reports for our new customers to becoming a reconciliation expert between our different data warehouses. To do so, vast amounts of data and information must be analyzed and reviewed with the cooperation of the sales management and engineering departments. 

What You’ll Do

 

•    Monitor daily / hourly data flows across all our data centers, escalate ETL or Airflow delays to the engineering teams, and carry out spot checks of customers' performance metrics against different systems.
•    Analyze data discrepancies at a granular level between the Analytics tool, internal RGS Reporting Services, or the customer’s system, and escalate/liaise with various internal teams until the discrepancies are resolved. 
•    Define and set up core standard reports for new customers, as well as the process by which they will receive the requested data (direct access or email); ensuring timely delivery of these reports.
•    Responsible for the content structure of our Analytics tools or RGS Reporting Services (naming standards, folder structure, implementation of best-practice security features). 
•    Identify and document in the Operational Knowledge Base on Confluence the various processes implemented regarding data incidents and customer reports. 
•    Document data flows and create processes to identify where incidents occur, the up and downstream effects, and ensure timely action can be taken.
•    Define and generate regular operational performance reporting and insights.

About You

•    At least 3 years of experience, ideally in operations or the BI department.
•    At least 3 years working with analytical tools and systems, OBIEE, Tableau, Snowflake.
•    An excellent working knowledge of SQL or similar language is a must. 
•    Solid working experience with Atlassian products, especially Jira. 
•    High proficiency in Excel.
•    Strong attention to detail and strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
