BI Developer - MicroStrategy

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced BI Developer specializing in MicroStrategy to join our Data Engineering team. The role involves developing and maintaining MicroStrategy dashboards, managing semantic layers and metadata, and performing data analysis to generate actionable insights. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to design and deliver optimized BI solutions while ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory) - Technical Expertise:   - 5+ years of hands-on experience with MicroStrategy (version 11.x or later).   - Proficiency in MicroStrategy architecture, design, and development, including server, web, workstation, mobile, and library components.   - Expertise in creating complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.   - Strong knowledge of semantic layer definition, metadata management, and maintenance. - Data Skills:   - Solid understanding of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and database structures.   - Ability to perform data analysis and debugging. - Collaboration:   - Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions. 
Good to Have Skillsets (Optional) - Familiarity with MicroStrategy server setup and basic administration. - Knowledge of best practices in data visualization and business intelligence. - Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues within MicroStrategy projects. - Experience in documenting development processes and creating technical specifications. 
Qualifications and Experience - Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in MicroStrategy development and data engineering roles. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). - Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent debugging capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple BI projects simultaneously.
