Data Engineer

On behalf of our client, a leading name in the Energy & Electricity sector, we are currently looking for a self-driven Data Engineer to join its growing team.

As a Data Engineer, you will step into a crucial position where you will optimize data-driven processes for the energy management team and ensure seamless data flow across systems. You will develop and maintain ETL processes to facilitate and automate the team’s data extraction needs and implement processes to create business-level analyses.

Your day-to-day

• Create and maintain procedures to extract data from diverse origins and consolidating it within the company's centralized databases
• Carry out exploratory data analysis (EDA) and execute the process of feature engineering
• Adopt state-of-the-art methods for choosing Machine Learning models and fine-tuning models’ parameters
• Deploy models into production environments
• Create, develop, and maintain Power BI reports
• Participate in the development of analytic tools to assist the daily operations of the department

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven working experience in Data Engineering
• Hands-on with Azure, including Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• Proficient in SQL for ETL
• Experience with Python and PySpark (nice to have)
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning (nice to have)
