As a Senior Data Analyst in our Advisory practice, you will be responsible for creating high-quality reports and analysis, finding data-driven insights our clients can leverage to make better business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analytics and business analysis, as well as extensive experience working with databases, data warehouses, SQL, Power BI, Excel and other common analytics tools.
Work hours will match working hours in the U.S. [13:00-22:00, dinner break (one hour between 17:00-18:00)] The working hours can be flexible during the day, but you will work with your US team to ensure some of your work hours overlaps with your US team’s schedule.
As a Senior Data Analyst in our Armenia office, you will be responsible for the following:
- Design, develop, and maintain executive reporting dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, and Looker, summarizing key business insights for clients.
- Extract, clean, and transform data to prepare for reporting, using SQL and Snowflake, Big Query, and other data warehouse tools.
- Create advanced analyses and forecasting models in Excel, including revenue projection models, customer cohort models, expense projections, and other key reports.
- Suggest KPIs for clients to track, based on their long-term goals and operating targets.
To be successful, these are the skills, qualities and experience you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a business analyst.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, including CTEs, variables, subqueries, window functions, and advanced SQL aggregation functions.
- Expertise in Power BI, including advanced DAX, and preferably M for data modeling and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
- Experience in data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, and pride in creating high-quality work.
- Ability to clearly present complicated analytics to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning models.
