What you bring to the team:

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Solution Architect with expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Azure-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Azure services, data architecture, and best practices for modern data solutions, including big data, analytics, and AI-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:
Architect and Design Data Solutions:

Lead the design of scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure data platform architectures.
Develop end-to-end data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and related tools.
Design data integration workflows and pipelines, ensuring data quality and compliance.
Implementation and Deployment:

Oversee the deployment of Azure data platforms, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and visualization components.
Ensure seamless integration of Azure data services with existing systems and applications.
Collaboration:

Work closely with stakeholders, including data engineers, analysts, and business teams, to define requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
Governance and Security:

Define and implement data governance policies, access controls, and security measures.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Optimization and Support:

Optimize performance and cost of Azure data services.
Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on Azure best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve data platform issues.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills:

Strong experience in Azure data platform services, including:
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure Data Factory
Azure Databricks
Azure Data Lake Storage
Cosmos DB
Azure SQL Database or SQL Managed Instance
Azure Machine Learning (optional but preferred)
Proficiency in designing data architectures, data lakes, data warehouses, and big data solutions.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks.
Programming Skills:

Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Spark.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Certifications:

Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or similar.
Experience:

5 years of experience in data platform architecture and cloud solutions.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale data platform projects in Azure.
