Description & Requirements

You will be part of our data science team, aiming to bring data science/AI techs from research to real commercial usage. The successful candidate should be technical, innovative, and experienced in modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), and comfortable working with a team of data professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on applying AI/DS technology in business cases;
• Engage in end-to-end development processes of data science / AI product, large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and generic ML framework/library;
• Collaborate with engineers or programmers to implement, deploy and improve data science products;
• Deliver clear presentation of outstanding modeling results to both business and technical stakeholders;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in LLMs, ML, and data science, and leverage emerging techniques to drive ongoing enhancement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative disciplines.
• Proficiency in Python, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on software development experience using the language.
• Hands-on experience with LLM / popular deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Solid understanding of containerization development.
• Experience or knowledge in distributed computing is a plus.
• Expertise in at least one of computer vision, LLM, reinforcement learning or predictive modelling.
• Proven experience in research and development (R&D) projects for business use cases. Candidate with leadership experience will have an advantage.
• Familiarity with productizing R&D projects is a strong asset.
• Self-motivated with a strong passion for continuous learning new technologies in AI and data science.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Data Scientist.
