Role description:

Arcadis is embarking on a transformative journey to become a Skills Powered Organisation (SPO), embedding skills-based talent practices throughout the employee lifecycle. This ambitious program will enable us to attract, grow, and connect talent globally, ensuring we remain agile and innovative in a rapidly evolving business environment.

Delivered in multiple stages, referred to as Horizons, the SPO Program prioritises our people’s experience in every decision we make. A critical component of this initiative is the Skills Landscape, which focuses on leveraging data to provide actionable insights into internal and external skills trends. These insights are key to shaping strategic workforce planning, capability building, and global talent development.

As part of this transformation, the Skills Analytics Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving skills-focused insights through advanced analytics, dashboards, and data quality processes, supporting Arcadis’ journey towards a skills-based model.

Role accountabilities:

People Analytics: 
•    Help the SPO Program team, people function and business to understand and formulate their skills reporting and analytics needs, enabling them to make informed decisions around workforce planning, skills development, recruitment, talent mobility, and strategic capability building.
•    Advise the business on the most effective reporting formats and approaches to address their skills-related analytics needs, ensuring clarity and usability of insights.
•    Develop skills reports and dashboards for the SPO Program, People function, and senior leaders, presenting insights into skill prevalence, gaps, trends, and distribution in a visually appealing way.
•    Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns skills data such as rising and declining skills, internal strengths, and external demand, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
•    Provide ongoing analytics and reporting support to the Skills Powered Delivery Team and manage ad hoc reporting requests related to skills insights and workforce analytics  
•    Extract and process data from the SPO Platform to prepare inputs for CruncHR, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
•    Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to optimise data pipelines and enhance the quality of skills-related data for dashboards, visualizations, and actionable insights.
•    Identify and resolve data quality issues in CruncHR and SPO Platform, ensuring reliable inputs for analytics and visualizations. 
•    Create and maintain shadow reporting frameworks for skills insights to assist the business in reporting during the transition to a Skills Powered Organisation. 
•    Support the Global People Analytics Manager and SPO Team to deliver key metrics and analytics that support the various phases of the SPO Program (Horizons), continuous improvement efforts, and the transition to business-as-usual operations.
•    Develop standardized global reporting and dashboarding frameworks for skills insights, ensuring alignment with the strategic and operational objectives of the SPO Program. 
•    Work with the SPO team and People Function to refine and enhance skills analytics tools based on feedback and evolving business needs.

Data Quality: 
•    Process, cleanse, and validate data from SPO Platform, ensuring its integrity and readiness for analysis and visualization in CruncHR. Address discrepancies and collaborate with stakeholders to establish workflows that prevent recurring issues. 
•    Assist in creating and implementing data quality auditing procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree and demonstrated experience in a reporting, analytics, or workforce intelligence role, preferably within the context of skills or talent data.
  • Technical experience in creating reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions, with familiarity in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, consistently demonstrating professionalism and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Consistently deliver high quality outputs that meet expectations, foster satisfaction in challenging environments, and build up trusted, long-term relationships with stakeholders. 
  •  
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a strong commitment to achieving team objectives and project goals.
  • An analytical and inquisitive approach, with the ability to quick learn new concepts, tools, methodologies to address complex business challenges.
