IT Architecture Senior Specialist on Data Quality Management

What you`ll do:

You are part of the Data Quality Management team (DQM) which is responsible of maintaining the meta data of all customer systems in various tool systems and the synchronization between them. The meta data is then used by automated procedures or reporting and is key for scalable and smoothly running operations.

In your role as an IT Architecture Senior Specialist working in the Data Quality Management Team, you will have touchpoints with several technical aspects of Data Quality.

The role includes:

• Development of ABAP based data consistency checks and fix bugs
• Development backlog management in Jira
• Various data quality activities
• Master Data standards definition and design in our internal tools

(CCIR, TIC, DED, Cloud Landscape Directory, …)

• DQM Continuous Improvement

In your day-to-day you will:

• Drive necessary process adjustments in case of data quality issues
• Drive various data quality projects
• Pattern analysis of data issues (errors, missing data, …)
• 3rd Level Support for DQM issues
• Interaction with various development teams & Process/Procedure Owners
• The creation and tracking of development requirements until final implementation
• The creation of development bug reports
• The harmonization of KPIs along the Data Quality Management process

What you bring:

Are you pro-active, the ability to inspire others and convince them to see opportunities instead of problems? You have strong problem analysis and resolution skills as well as excellent English skills?

If this sounds like you, do you also bring:

• ABAP development skills
• Knowledge of SAP basis technologies, Network/Web technologies, LINUX based infrastructures, High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Background in Data Quality Management is a plus
• Knowledge in ITIL and Project Management methodology is a plus

Our Unit runs Cross Projects, represents the Process Managers, operate the Tools Operation Control Center (TOCC) and taking care for Monitoring as well as for Data Quality Management.

Most of your team members are currently located in Germany and India, but whole ECS as stakeholder is distributed around the globe.
