About the Role:

We are looking for a forward-thinking and motivated individual who can bridge the gap between business operations and Data Science to drive innovation and automation within the Monitoring team. In this role, You will leverage advanced analytical methods and models to optimize business processes, uncover patterns, detect inefficiencies, and provide meaningful insights. You will also be responsible for developing automated reporting systems, conducting technical research to explore emerging technologies, and using causal inference techniques to drive impactful improvements. This is a highly collaborative role, where You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to shape data-driven strategies that elevate operational performance.

What You'll be doing:

📈Pattern Recognition – utilizing analytical tools and statistical models to identify patterns and trends in network monitoring data

⚠️Anomaly detection – applying statistical / Machine Learning models to recognize abnormal, incorrect or inefficient repair services

⚙️Automated Reporting – creating and maintaining tools for automatic report generation

🧪Technical research – conducting research to identify emerging technologies that could benefit the organization

💡Causal inference analysis – identifying the reasons behind various business processes and proposing solutions for improving current practices

🗯️Collaboration with other teams – presenting findings and providing technical guidance for the Development and Operations teams

✨Stakeholder engagement – communicating with stakeholders to understand their needs, presenting updates to management and other relevant parties

Requirements

• Residing in or near Warsaw

• Fluency in both Polish and English

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science)

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience (e.g. as a Business Analyst, Data Scientist, ML Engineer)

• Hand-on experience with Python (pandas, sklearn, pytorch, keras) or R (tidyverse, tidymodels)

• Familiarity with the latest technologies and frameworks within Data Science and AI

• Strong knowledge of Statistics and Data Science

• Analytical problem-solving skills with a track record of solving complex challenges

• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical engineers and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and with a proactive mindset

 

Nice to have:

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field

• 2+ years of relevant work experience

• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning

• A background in both Business Analysis and Data Science with hands-on experience in operations automation

• A passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends
