Job title: Senior Specialist, Technical Product Management

We are Central Software Engineering (CSE), a team of over 100 engineering and product professionals spanning Prague, New Jersey, and Singapore. Our mission is to deliver innovative digital solutions that drive our company's strategic objectives through deep business and technical expertise. Collaborating with various divisions like research, manufacturing, and commercial, we build custom software solutions that enhance our patients' lives through technology.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will take a leadership role in guiding the end-to-end development of complex custom software solutions. You'll have the opportunity to work on multiple products at various stages of development and maturity, ensuring each one delivers high impact and aligns with our strategic goals. Acting as a key liaison between technical teams and senior stakeholders, you will drive innovation, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to the growth of our product management practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Product Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
- Product Discovery: Lead in-depth business / user research and market analysis to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and influence decision-making.
- Effective Communication: Articulate complex concepts and product statuses to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data insights to drive product decisions and optimize performance.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior product managers, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- SDLC Oversight: Drive Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, ensuring all phases from requirements gathering to deployment are effectively executed.
- Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, including AI technologies like GenAI and LLMs, to inform product innovation.
- Risk & Change Management: Anticipate challenges and implement strategies to mitigate risks and manage changes effectively.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure cohesive and efficient product development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience (e.g., 6+ years in product management roles).
- Extensive experience in product management within a software development context, with a track record of delivering multiple successful software products from conception to launch.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including experience mentoring junior colleagues and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
Nice to have:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Background in product design or user research.
- Exposure to startup environments and/or modern product methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with software development in any programming language.
- Understanding of AI technologies, primarily GenAI and LLMs.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in software development.
- Product Management certificates.
