Job Description Summary:

Position Overview: This role offers an opportunity to design and implement end-to-end Data & Analytics solutions, following the software development life cycle principles. Responsibilities will include ETL (extract, transform & load), data processing, data modeling, visualization through reports and dashboards, and ensuring system security. The candidate will also create interfaces to other systems and manage migrations from AWS SQL Server databases to Azure Synapse.

The developer will operate independently, serving as both software architect and development lead for extracting specific data streams from SAP, SQL, and Azure while adhering to DevOps practices.


Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Analytics Solution Development:
    • Design, build, and implement ETL processes, data models, and analytics dashboards.
    • Ensure compliance with company standards for performance and information security.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications
  • System Integration & Migration:
    • Perform migration of AWS SQL Server databases to Azure Synapse.
    • Migrate all stored procedures, SSIS packages, and views to Azure.
    • Rewire reports, Power Apps, Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, and ETL processes to Azure Synapse.
    • Validate Azure datasets against AWS SQL datasets and SAP data.
  • Data & Reporting Automation:
    • Design and drive reporting project automation using tools like Power BI, Alteryx, and Azure Synapse.
    • Coordinate and manage testing of solutions, including UAT, and post-implementation validation.
    • Build automation to improve reporting efficiency and quality across systems.
  • System Maintenance & Enhancement:
    • Actively participate in system improvements, including SQL databases, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Anaplan, and other integrated applications.
    • Perform system maintenance, tuning, troubleshooting, and user support.
    • Deliver technical documentation, training, and process improvement recommendations.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Partner with planning, operations, customer service, and co-packers to ensure smooth SAP transactions.
    • Support daily SAP activities for raw materials, production, shipments, and procurement.
    • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless system integration and communication across platforms.
  • Business Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities, focusing on both end-user and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor business metrics, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation plans for pain points.
    • Align data solutions with broader organizational goals, delivering business value through technology.
  • Co-Man Manual Transaction Support:
    • Support over 12 Co-man facilities by entering manual transactions into SAP.
    • Manage daily manual SAP entries for good receipts of raw materials, finished goods productions.
    • Collaborating with sales, operations, and customer service teams to investigate and resolve post goods issues for shipments.
  • Manage and create purchase order procurement process.


Education Requirements:
Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Related Work Experience:

  • 2-5 years of related work experience
  • Strong experience with SAP, SQL, Azure Synapse, Power BI, and data modeling.
  • Ability to design and implement end-to-end Data & Analytics solutions.
  • Experience migrating databases, stored procedures, and ETL processes to cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with process automation tools like Power BI, ORI, Anaplan, Power Apps, Microsoft Desktop Automation and Azure Synapses.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate complex solutions effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.

Pay Range:

$97,800 - $116,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:

7.5
