About the Role: 

Brightline brings virtual behavioral and mental health care to families, when and where you need it. We are seeking a Staff Data Analyst to play a critical part in advancing Brightline’s successful launch of key new business initiatives. This role will drive strategic projects uncovering business insights across the organization to influence strategic decisions and enable a culture of data-driven excellence. The role will work closely with leadership and stakeholders to solve complex problems and design scalable reporting models to allow teams to operate more effectively.

Advanced Data Modeling and Reporting 

  •  Develop and refine scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting systems to provide real-time insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Strategic Leadership 

  • Ability to become a trusted strategic  partner with leadership across Growth, Operations, Product, and Clinical teams to define analytics priorities and deliver actionable insights that guide business decisions.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence 

  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements, leveraging data to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and support scalable growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Data Scientists and Business Operations teams to ensure data is structured and presented in an insightful, actionable way for internal stakeholders.

Communication and Storytelling

  • Ability to distill complex data analyses into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences, and comfort presenting to external partners. 

Why We Are Excited About You:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on delivering insights that inform growth, product, revenue, or operational strategies.

  • Previous Roles: Data Science, Business Intelligence, Business Operations, Consulting. 

  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a high-growth startup preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and managing modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase). 

  • Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to approach complex business problems with data-driven solutions and align analytics work with strategic objectives.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical findings in a clear and accessible way to both business and technical audiences.

  • Passion for the Mission: A deep commitment to improving behavioral health care and supporting families in accessing affordable, high-quality care.

  • Nice to Have: 

    • Experience with Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, and/or DBT 

    • Fluency with Python or another language for statistical analysis

Compensation Philosophy:

  • At Brightline we have built a total rewards philosophy that includes fair, equitable, competitive, geo-based compensation that is performance, leveling and potential based. Our strategy is based on robust market research, including external advisory specializing in national compensation, and thoughtful input from every level of our organization. It is a combination of a cash salary, equity, benefits, wellbeing, and opportunity. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for applicants is $145,000-$195,000.
