About You

Are you looking to continue your Data Architect career at a product-driven company that brings together software engineering, machine learning, and data science to solve real world problems? Do you have passion for everything data, from data quality (DQ) to data governance to data engineering? Do you bring with you to the daily work environment a driven approach and attention to detail, coupled with a bit of fun to top things up? Are you eager to roll up your sleeves and show us your technical mojo?

Your Responsibilities

As our Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in supporting RepRisk's growth pushing forward our data architecture and data governance, and by putting in place advanced data observability and data quality pipelines and processes. You will be part of our global architecture team, reporting to the CTO of RepRisk. Moreover, you will:

  • Own the data architecture, data governance, and data quality of RepRisk
  • Enable and foster a data culture across teams
  • Bring a hands-on engineering approach to resolving data-related issues
  • Contribute to the adoption of innovative data observability and quality tools
  • Together with fellow architects, ensure our data infrastructure is performant, robust, and scalable to a 10x increase in data volume and complexity
  • Design and optimize data models, processes, pipelines, and storage solutions for both structured and unstructured data
  • Support engineers and fellow architects, in matters related to your function
  • Proactively inform stakeholders in case of data anomalies or other DQ issues
  • Educate the company in matters of data architecture, governance, and data quality

Qualifications

You Offer

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or data science
  • Ten years hands-on experience working with large-scale data, including three years as a data architect
  • Subject matter expertise in some of the below areas: 
    • SOTA data observability tools and SaaS
    • Major SQL and NoSQL databases
    • Big data and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Clickhouse, Redshift or Databricks)
    • AWS cloud infrastructure
    • Data Science and machine learning
  • Analytical and structured thinking, organized, solution-oriented, and efficient in execution
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English, every other language is a plus
