Programming & Data Scientist Specialist

Description

We are seeking a Programming & Data Scientist Specialist to join our team and leverage data science methodologies to design models, analyze datasets, and develop data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in programming, statistical modeling, and data analysis with strong communication skills to provide insights and support for client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow.
• Create machine learning models and design data-driven solutions.
• Optimize data infrastructure and algorithms to improve performance.
• Analyze complex datasets and present insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client objectives.
• Develop statistical models, including econometric and stress testing/CCAR models.
• Implement data preservation and decommissioning processes.
• Conduct data analysis using R, Python, SQL, and SAS Viya.
• Produce graphical representations and simulations of data for analysis.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in R programming, Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with statistical modeling, econometrics, and machine learning algorithms.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems, including their key differences.
• Understanding of structured vs. non-structured data storage, cloud vs. on-prem hosting, and archiving vs. migrating applications.
• Knowledge of database management, including SQL language and its applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present technical findings effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in SAS Viya and data modeling.
• Knowledge of ad sales and related data processes.
• Solid background in statistics, mathematics, and data science methodologies.

Work Environment:

This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and requires collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
