  • Lead the product vision and strategy for claims data-driven products, aligning with overall business objectives and industry trends. Develop a detailed product roadmap, outlining key features, benefits, and timelines.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance. Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Identify and evaluate potential external data sources, including vendor data and web scraping, to enhance claims data analysis and decision-making.
  • Play a lead role in managing vendor product data relationships, coordinating with procurement partners.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including executives, claims adjusters, underwriting, and IT teams. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
  • Define requirements for creating data assets on the cloud, including data governance policies, security measures, and scalability considerations. Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design and implement cloud-based data infrastructure. 
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data products. Prioritize product features and functionalities based on business value and customer needs.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility within the cloud environment.
  • Expand the smart data catalog and knowledge base, increasing visibility of data insights across the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on claims data.
  • Strong understanding of property & casualty insurance concepts and claims processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, data visualization tools). Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in insurance preferred.
  • Knowledge of APIs and cloud-based data platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
