This intern position requires you to be in a hybrid working model (at least 3 days in the office, and 2 days remote) based at the Staples, Inc. Corporate Headquarters in Framingham, MA.
Target Start Date: June 2, 2025 - August 15, 2025 (11-week program)

What you’ll be doing:
- Assist in developing and testing eCom CICD pipelines/models
- Should be able to think differently for seamless deployment of the code in multiple environments
- Collaborate with team members to improve backend Services performance
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Technology with AI based thought process
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, or Ruby
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Go, or Node.js is a plus
- Experience with Git, including knowledge of branching, merging, and handling pull requests
- Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI, or Azure DevOps
- Experience or willingness to learn tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration platforms
- Exposure to cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, especially services related to computing, storage, and networking
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn new things quickly
- Understanding of eCom platforms is a bonus.
- Basic knowledge of big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) or any No SQL is beneficial.
- Previous projects or coursework related to ML, or AI are highly valued.
- Enjoy working in teams and being highly communicative
- Able to multi-task and be flexible to new initiatives
