Job Summary

As a business intelligence analyst you will be responsible for delivering value to the EOIS business via the creation of business intelligence reports and analytics tools.  Your role will entail working as part of the business intelligence team and interfacing with our data engineering team as needed to implement the EOIS business’s BI strategy.  The reports and analytics tools generated by the BI team serve functional areas such as operations, supply chain, engineering, finance and program management.

Job Responsibilities

• Engage business stakeholders to elicit and clarify BI requirements
• Break down complex data-driven business requirements or use cases and determine appropriate source data within our enterprise business systems
• Develop Business Intelligence reports that accurately and effectively communicate complex data in easily consumable format and styles
• Collaborate and communicate with a team of skilled BI professionals, sharing ideas, knowledge and documenting work
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors (or higher) in a quantitative field (examples: data science, computer science/computer engineering, software engineering, mathematics, statistics) from an accredited institution
• Experience/Knowledge with Data Visualization tools, preferably Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, DAX
• Experience/Knowledge with relational databases (SQL/SQL Server preferred) and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing environment in any of the areas including supply chain, operations, planning, purchasing etc.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems from a process and data flow perspective
• Financial knowledge related to manufacturing/cost accounting (in a defense/program management environment preferred).
• Kinaxis Rapid Response experience
• Experience with the wider Power Platform including Power Automate & Power Apps
• Coding skills using Python,Jupyter Notebooks or R for data analysis
