Your Impact

  • Build and run forecasting models for all connected assets like electric vehicles, heat pumps and batteries with respect to short-term market prices.
  • Working very closely with our app and connectivity teams, positively impacting smart features such as smart charging offered to our customers
  • You always set the customer first and provide a highest possible outcome together with your team colleagues
  • As part of a cross-functional product team, you demonstrate clear communication, a proactive approach, and a high drive to innovate.
  • Partnering with vendors to optimize the usage of their assets for the benefit of our customers.

What can you bring

  • Proven Experience in software development with Python
  • Experience with the Julia programming language is a plus
  • Experience in using specialized machine learning libraries to develop high-quality models with clean, scalable, and production-ready code.
  • In-depth understanding of statistical methodologies and algorithms, with expertise in applying these techniques to tackle complex data challenges.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing time series forecasting models
  • Analytical and Structured Problem Solving with project management skills.
  • Collaborative Mindset with the ability to work both independently and within diverse teams.
  • Language Proficiency in English and German (B2 level), with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Bonus Skills include knowledge of probabilistic modelling, basic knowledge of European power markets or other commodity exchanges and Azure Cloud or GCP
  • Location: be based in or be willing to relocate to Hamburg
