What You Will Do:

This position is one member of a consulting team supporting the United States Transportation Command’s (USTRANSCOM) Program Analysis and Financial Management directorate (TCJ8). This position will be responsible for working with Federal Civil Servants to deliver Budget and Funds Management support to the J8 directorate.

What You Will Need:

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance 

• Bachelor’s degree

• ONE (1) year workforce experience to include, Finance, Data Science, or Training.

• What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Preference to candidates with experience using one or more (1+) of the following DoD Financial Management systems: Defense Enterprise Accounting & Management System (DEAMS), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), Commander’s Resource Integration System (CRIS), Electronic Document Access (EDA), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), and/or Advana Data Analytics System

• Experience specifically focused on data quality controls and data visualization, as well as reporting and analytics.

• Preference to candidates with experience working in Government Finance (preference to USTRANSCOM, SDDC, or AMC Financial Management experience) and/or managing TWCF Funds

• Preference to candidates with experience developing budget forecasts using: Incremental Budgeting, Zero Based Budgeting, Activity-Based Budgeting, and/or Value Proposition methodologies

• Preference to candidates with experience developing and applying overhead, G&A, or other finance-related rates

• Preference to candidates currently in possession of an active secret clearance

• Preference to candidates with experience developing tools in the following systems: SharePoint, MS Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and/or MS Access

• Preference to candidates with experience identifying and developing Process Mapping

• Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, & Word) and experience with coding languages. Preference for SQL and Python.

Demonstrated experience developing complex data visualizations, especially with dashboarding software like Advana, PowerBI or COGNOS
