Job Description

Join us for your placement year in summer 2025! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.

Are you a budding programmer, database expert, coder? Have you got the enthusiasm to use your skills to help build tools to automate KPI reporting, analyse data and provide interactive front end user tools?

We are looking for an individual to join our logistics team to help improve our use of data across our operational activities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Ideally you will have some knowledge or understanding of SQL, databases and automation software. Working with experienced logistics colleagues we want you to help us accelerate our ability to analyse data to support key decision making as well as saving time by automating KPI reporting and repetitive tasks.

We will provide the necessary tools to allow you to be creative in your approach, utilising the existing Bosch data sets and systems to support your work.

Help us build interactive tools for our teams using Powerbi/Power queries, tableau or otherwise to enable the teams to interact with data and provide interactive user experiences.

The role is hybrid based, working between home and Worcester.

Qualifications

Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.

Our ideal candidate must have:

  • Have experience of working with databases
  • Have experience working with large data sets
  • Have experience presenting data
  • Have experience coding
  • Ability to learn new software tools and carry out their own research to further develop their understanding and skills
  • Able to work as part of a team of a variety of projects
  • Ability to work independently on tasks to challenging deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of MS tools, excel etc

Our ideal candidate should have:

  • SQL queries
  • Oracle Databases
  • API’s
  • Powerbi

Contract Duration: 1 year

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunch break
